Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 2026
This policy applies to visits to shadowrocketguide.com. This site is the official Shadowrocket website and manual, with guidance on verifying the genuine app, setup steps, and troubleshooting. It explains how this website handles information and does not replace the app's or App Store's privacy information.
1. Scope and information you provide
This is a static content site with no registration, login, email collection, or form for submitting subscription addresses. You can read the manual without providing your name, phone number, or payment details. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend servers or subscriptions. Instructions assume that you already have your own subscription or server details.
Addresses and credentials shown in this manual are format examples. Do not put real subscription links, passwords, UUIDs, QR codes, or configuration content in query parameters on this site's URLs. Reading a tutorial does not require you to send these details to the website, and information entered in the app is not automatically submitted to this site when you read a webpage.
2. Visit logs and analytics
The site uses analytics to understand page views, on-site navigation, and clicks on App Store links. This helps improve the content structure and identify unusual traffic. Analytics may include page paths, visit times, referral pages, browser types, and device categories. The hosting provider may also log technical information such as network addresses and response statuses when handling requests.
When clicked, the App Store button on the download page records an outbound-link click. This event helps us understand how the link is used; it does not indicate that an app was purchased or installed, or that a connection succeeded. It is not used to access payment records or in-app traffic. Analytics do not include the app's server list or browsing history.
3. Cookies and local storage
This site does not use cookies for login identity or a shopping cart. Whether analytics use cookies, identifiers, or other browser storage depends on the active analytics configuration and browser restrictions. A static website should not be assumed to use no storage at all.
You can switch languages using page links. Reading the content does not require access to your clipboard, camera, or location. You can view, restrict, or clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing data may reset saved preferences or analytics identifiers, but generally does not prevent you from continuing to read the static content. Refer to your browser's documentation for the specific settings.
4. Use of information and security limits
Visit data should be processed only as needed to maintain content, diagnose operation, and protect security. It should not be combined with subscription credentials, payment information, or in-app configuration. Website hosting and analytics may involve technical service providers processing requests. This policy does not promise unverified retention periods, storage locations, or absolute security.
Avoid including sensitive information in URLs, and do not share screenshots that reveal complete credentials. Closing a page does not automatically delete server access logs already created; clearing browser data likewise does not delete server-side records. Browser restrictions and website logging are separate processes.
5. External App Store links
Shadowrocket is available only through the App Store. When you click the App Store product page, you will be taken to a service operated by Apple. App Store visits, account verification, payments, and purchase records are subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy policy. This site does not process payments or collect Apple Account passwords.
Shadowrocket is a paid commercial app. A one-time purchase of the app does not include a service plan. Price, device compatibility, system requirements, and purchase eligibility are as listed on the App Store page. Website analytics and the app's own data processing should be understood separately.
6. Policy updates and reading guide
If our data handling, analytics purposes, or browser storage practices change, this page will be updated and the month shown at the top will be revised. The updated notice applies to visits from the time it is published and does not replace any notice or consent that may be required in practice.
For questions about using the site or its instructions, start with the FAQ or Getting Started Guide, then check the relevant steps. These pages are for reference, not for submitting personal information. When troubleshooting, keep the necessary error details and redact addresses, credentials, and account information.
